As a medical professional myself, I thought for sure my next step was surgery, especially for my chronic lower back pain.
I am thrilled to have found such a wonderful physical therapy place to help my various conditions!
I am shocked at how much I have improved over the past several weeks.
Not only is the staff a pleasure to work with, but they go above and beyond to make sure I am continually improving.
They constantly re-evaluate my pain level and range of motion throughout each session and continually educate as to why we are doing specific exercises, stretches, etc.
Please also bring your insurance information, photo identification and a physician's referral if it was provided to you.
Please bring a list of your medications as well as any imaging reports such as X-rays, MRI's, EMG etc. Please arrive 15 minutes early as additional forms and information may be required.
Note: Pelvic floor physical therapists are licensed to perform internal pelvic exams.
In some cases with pelvic floor pain, it can provide an asset for diagnosis and treatment.
This exam differs from the exam most women are accustomed to at their gynecological visits.
1 in 4 individuals over the age of 65 in the United States fall each year and about 40% of individuals in the United States will experience dizziness or vertigo at some point in their lifetime.
Falls are the leading cause of fatal injury and the most common cause of nonfatal trauma-related hospital admissions among older adults.
Don't let vertigo or unsteadiness lead to further injury.
You can trust the vestibular experts at CORE 3 to improve your vertigo, dizziness and to improve your balance.
Parkinson disease is when there is degeneration of nerves in the brain that produce dopamine.
In the brain, dopamine functions as a neurotransmitter which is a chemical released by nerve cells that send signals to other nerve cells.
Dopamine plays a role in many specific functions including mood, sleep, memory, learning, concentration, and motor control.
All of these are influenced by the levels of dopamine in a person's body.
Symptoms include a resting tremor, bradykinesia (slow movements), rigidity of limbs and gait and balance problems.
