Kyla graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet and a minor in nutrition from the University of Utah in 2013, then danced professionally in California. Her dance background provided her with a strong understanding of the importance of movement and care required to maintain physical health. This led her to study physical therapy and receive her physical therapist assistant degree from Mt. Hood Community College in 2019.
Kyla is originally from Seattle and is happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest working at Root and Branch. She enjoys staying active and spends her free time running and hiking. She is currently studying under the Postural Restoration Institute and is excited to share her knowledge and experience by working with others to achieve their physical therapy goals.

We block off up to 90 minutes for evaluations and will assess you from head to toe.

Without corrective exercises, there will be limited long term benefits of manual therapy.
However manual therapy can help accelerate recovery and movement restoration through neurological inhibition of pain and muscle tone.
