Transitions Physical Therapy
We are a group of clinicians and support staff that believe physical therapy can be done better. The current orthopedic model is broken and starting in 2006, we have set out to change it. We believe in delivering the most comprehensive PT specialist care to you, in a home town caring manner. You will not find a collection of more dedicated professionals with as much understanding of postural control, gait, systemic respiration, and stability dysfunction in the country.

The professionals listed below are ready to help you understand why you are having pain and to teach you how to change the way you move through life. Sean holds bachelors degrees in Health Science and Biology, a Masters degree of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from EIM Institute for Health Professions.

Sean is currently 1 of only 150 Postural Restoration Certified therapists in the country. Sean is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association in the Sports PT and Private Practice sections as well as The Performing Arts Special Interest Group (PASIG) and the EIM PT Executives Masterminds group.
Services
Our specialized training in understanding why YOU have pain goes way beyond a typical stretch, strengthen, and modality based program.
We will address YOUR acute pain and the underlying problems that caused the pain.
In addition, we will educate you on how to make long term improvements to minimize the recurrence of the pain by treating your altered mechanics.
I have had chronic pain since childhood from an auto accident and at 21, I was beginning to think my life was always going to be clouded by this intense amount of pain.
I started going to see Mike and a little over a year later I can safely say that I have never felt this good.
Mike and Sean have helped me to get my life back.
As a client of Dr. John Earls, I have experienced his professionalism, good humor, empathy and intelligence.
His knowledgeable recommendations are helping me pursue my goals toward postural restoration.

Sometimes seeing how your treatment and Your pain is connected, is not always clear.
Understanding neuromechanics can give our approach context as to how and why we treat you as a system.
You should plan on the initial evaluation / first visit to be 45 minutes.
Please arrive early to check in with the office.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow access to your involved area.
The first visit will consist of a review of how you are managing and a quick history of your injury and current functional levels.
