Family Physical Therapy Service
At Family Physical Therapy Services, you are special: like family. We want all of our patients (and their families) to feel at home and confident that we will treat them as we would treat any member of our own family; with the professionalism, care, and compassion that they deserve. That level of compassion and commitment along with the experience of our therapists is what makes the difference in your ability to achieve your goals.

Because life is waiting for a healthy, fully-functional you to enjoy it. In 1991 I started Family Physical Therapy Services. But the story of this business started long before that. You see, I was only about 3 years old when my mother started having symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. Obviously, I didn't realize the significance of that until I was a little older, but for all intents and purposes, she suffered from this very debilitating disease for nearly my entire life.

This fact alone influenced many of my decisions throughout my life, but it is not the only reason why patients always come first at FPTS.

Family Physical Therapy Services is now in its 30th year of private practice, all the time maintaining its Bedford roots, yet reaching out to the surrounding communities.
We remain devoted to family and family values, and to our friends in the community.
Over the years we have seen our patients and their families grow.
Seemingly overnight their children have gone from kindergarten to college and some are married with their own children.
When Cathy Leer founded the business, her children were 4 and 6, and are now well into their thirties!
While there are many therapy practices out there, only Family Physical Therapy can offer you the combination of care, service, and results that you expect and deserve in a healthcare provider.
Appointments range from fully supervised 30 minute - one hour periods, maximizing your potential for recovery.
We are a Physical Therapist owned private practice providing physical therapy and related services to help foster improved health and wellness and to restore your physical abilities to allow you to participate in activities that bring joy and fulfillment to your life.
Because access to healthcare is so important to us, and so many people have been negatively impacted by rising co-pays and sky high deductibles, we have instituted a FREE Injury Screening program.
This allows you access to one of our licensed physical therapy professionals, who will perform a personalized assessment of your injury, ache, pain or functional limitation and provide a professional interpretation of the probable diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options ranging from simple at home exercises, supervised physical therapy, or a visit to your PCP or specialist for further medical work-up.
VeDA has been a help to me (Portland OR non profit/Vertifo problems) however the day someone told me about Lauren Fournier at the Bedford office I found a new level of compensating.
I have been grateful to her for taking me beyond the minimal assistance I found from three other people.
She is very good.
Now that they offer tele medicine, I can't wait to learn if this applies in any degree to my continuing her exercises.
I appreciate the open information on this site.
It is one of the more professional ones I have been to.
