Treatments include relaxing hot stone soft tissue mobilization, progressive muscle relaxation, gentle passive stretching, and other soothing soft tissue work.
Treatments include a fusion of therapeutic exercise, dynamic stretching, and relaxing soft tissue techniques.
Cheryl Fishken, Licensed Massage Therapist, provides a variety of massage experiences that are integral to the healing process and provide a deep and lasting relaxation.
Working closely with our doctors, and possessing a thorough understanding of anatomy & physiology allows her to provide targeted relief to her clients, by identifying the source of pain or tension, and managing it effectively in a relaxing environment.
Therapeutic massage is the ideal compliment to physical therapy, and we frequently recommend it to our patients.
Initial evaluations last 55 minutes.
We will ask you a series of questions to develop a comprehensive picture of you as an individual, your goals, and your current physical and functional impairment.
Then, we will complete a physical examination looking at your range of motion, strength, and other physical attributes in order to establish an appropriate plan of care.
We will deliver a brief treatment or educational session to reduce your pain and plan your first full treatment session.
We will also use this time to develop a treatment schedule with you and book any upcoming appointments.
