River Parish Physical Therapy & Wellness
Our PT team focuses not just on treating the pain or discomfort but determining and treating the cause. The power of physical therapy isn't limited to musculoskeletal disorders. Trained in neurological rehabilitation, our team also specializes in the evaluation and treatment of those suffering from injury, disease, and ailments related to the nervous system.

With more than a third of all U.S. adults 65 and older experiencing a fall each year, with up to 30 percent suffering moderate to severe injuries (according to the CDC), it's imperative that seniors and those approaching their golden years take balance issues seriously. And physical therapy can help. Hip and knee replacement surgeries are some of the most common operations performed in the U.S., with about 1 million completed each year.

And each one of these patients shares one thing in common: their desire to get back to the level of work, play, and function they enjoyed before first experiencing joint pain. Our physical therapy team can get them there.

And physical therapy can help.
Falls due to balance issues can be caused by a number of factors, including weakness, joint stiffness and pain, inner ear problems, the lack of consistent exercise, or simply issues related to aging.
Dry needling is a manual technique used by physical therapists to reduce muscle spasm, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
Our therapists are certified in dry needling, which requires intense, hands-on courses to learn anatomy and hone their skills.
Dry needling targets trigger points in muscle bellies that may be causing you pain or restricting your range of motion.
Your therapist may also use this technique to target fascial restrictions or other connective tissues that they are not able to manipulate with their hands.

Headaches can be debilitating, leading to lost days at work and with family.
As people search for answers, they often find themselves in physical therapy.
Our highly trained physical therapists are skilled at recognizing when your headache is treatable through exercise and manual therapy.
