Palmetto Rehabilitation Specialists was created in 2006 by Jane E. Julian PT/ATC and RJ Bates PT. Palmetto Rehab began with outpatient clinics in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, South Carolina. Additional clinics opened in York, SC in 2008 and then in Indian Land SC in 2010. We are the preferred provider of physical therapy services in York County and upper Lancaster County.
All of our therapists are local residents who take pride in providing physical therapy to the residents of these areas.

Fort Mill Physical Therapy opened in 2002 by R.J. Bates, PT, a Fort Mill Native.
R.J is a graduate of Fort Mill High School and the Medical University of South Carolina.
It was the first outpatient physical therapy clinic to open in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
The only locally owned physical therapy clinic to serve Fort Mill Town, Tega Cay and surrounding areas.
All therapists live in Fort Mill and are active involved in the community.

Improving balance will prevent future falls and injuries related to falls.
We will assess your strength, mobility, balance and endurance to assess if you are a fall risk.
We will provide you with education on fall risks as well as develop a physical therapy program to work toward the goal of preventing future falls.
We work closely with your physician after surgery to provide a physical therapy program per your physician's orders or protocol.

He received his BS degree in physical therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997.

Janie is a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer and has served the Rock Hill area for over 25 years in various locations and specialties.
She received her BS degree in physical therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and also, has a BS degree from Clemson University.
She is a licensed physical therapist in South Carolina and North Carolina.
Janie is the founding co-owner of Palmetto Rehabilitation which was founded(should you say established) in 2006.
She also serves as the assistant volleyball coach for Rock Hill High and very active within various club volleyball programs in the Rock Hill area.
She received her BS degree in physical therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and also, has a BS degree from Clemson University.
