At PRA we combine Integrative Sports & Performance Rehab with Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Functional Training Modalities to achieve the best results possible. We have four offices in Charlotte North Carolina, serving South Charlotte near Ballantyne Pineville - Charlotte near Plaza Midwood Cotswold Eastover - Lake Norman near North Charlotte Huntersville Cornelius Davidson - and West Charlotte.

Services
We offer specialized chiropractic and physical therapy services with unique manual skill sets such as active release therapy, manual joint manipulation, fascial release, and bio medical acupuncture.
At Performance Rehab Associates, we set ourselves apart from conventional rehab care combining physical therapy and chiropractic with our unique training and experience as well as our comprehensive treatment plans.
Our physical therapists provide you with 40 minutes of one on one care and are trained in the latest techniques such as Mulligan Mobilization, McKenzie Therapy, Vestibular Rehab, Fascial Abrasion Technique and Dry Needling.
Dr. John Cipriani graduated Magna Cum Laude with a doctor of chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic college and has a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
In 2003, Dr. Cipriani worked as a resident at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, NC were he performed grand rounds in internal medicine, radiology, sports medicine, and orthopedics.
Upon graduation he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award, and was inducted a member of Phi Chi Omega society.
Dr. Kristin Royen received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2009.
After graduation Kristin relocated to the Northern Virginia area where she began her work with a premiere orthopedic practice.
Dr. Royen was able to work with a wide array of patients including those with back and neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries and many post operative patients.
Kristin moved back to her hometown of Charlotte in 2012.
She continued her work in the out-patient orthopedic setting, honing her extensive manual and therapeutic exercise skill set.
Dr. Luke Keane is a native of New Jersey, where he grew up playing a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, and swimming.
Having seen injuries occur both on and off the field, he decided he wanted to dedicate his life to studying anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation.
After obtaining an Exercise Science degree from Salisbury University, he attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 2017.
Dr. Keane is trained and certified in various myofascial release techniques as well as integrative dry needling.
Kay Trotta, MPT received her Master of Physical Therapy degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 2005.
During this time, she focused her research on balance and fall reduction in the aging population.
She also received her BS degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Georgia.
After graduating, Kay spent 2 years in the Atlanta area focusing on orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation through a combination of land based and aquatic therapies.
Since relocating to the Charlotte area, Kay has focused her time in the out-patient orthopedic setting, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
