Washougal Sport-Spine Physical
At Washougal Sport and Spine, we believe in empowering our patients to take an active role in their health and recovery. Our unique model of 1:1 care means you'll always be treated by the same licensed physical therapist at every visit. This practice helps ensure optimal results and builds trust between both the patient and the practitioner. Our founder was born and raised in Camas and has continued a tradition of community involvement within Washougal Sport and Spine.

Our team spends hundreds of hours each year giving back to student athletes among other local causes. We aim to help you feel and perform your best as soon as possible! We believe in partnering with our patients to equip them with the tools and knowledge they need to stay healthy and active-without us!

Founded in 2008, Washougal Sport and Spine is an independent and privately-owned physical therapy practice.
Founded in 2008 by Steve McCarthy, Washougal Sport and Spine is an independent and privately-owned physical therapy practice.
A Camas native, Steve started the clinic after six years of working in a larger, corporate therapy system.
As a brand new start up, our initial growth was fueled solely by word of mouth and doctor referrals.
In 2009, Kimberly Williams joined the practice after relocating from Pullman, Washington and become a co-owner and partner in 2011.
At Washougal Sport and Spine, our hands-on treatments allow patients to play an active role in their recovery.
Our focus is on helping you help yourself-much of your treatment plan will be based on exercises and stretches that will give you the strength and tools you need to recover and stay free from future injuries.
With new patients (or new injuries) we start with a 45-60 minute evaluation of strength, movement, and biomechanics.
This full body assessment ensures we get to the root of the issue and can then begin to help you truly heal!
Through our relationship with the Camas School District, we support student athletes through our sports medicine program run by Camas High's Athletic Trainer, Jake Howell.
In addition to over 100 hours of volunteering in local schools each year, our trainers are on the sidelines at each football game, helping ensure that athletes stay safe and receive the treatment they need.
Washougal Sport and Spine is committed to keeping student athletes healthy and safe.
We specialize in treating and preventing sports injuries and free consults are always available.
Custom orthotics are perfect for those looking to decrease pain, stabilize an unstable joint, and alleviate abnormal foot pressure.
Dr. Williams makes custom orthotics for patients for a flat rate of $275 per pair.
Orthotics typically last 7-10 years and can be designed to fit different shoe wear.
Each set is individually cast and is able to accommodate your unique foot structure and pathology.
All molds are sent to Biomechanical Services Lab, a premier orthotics lab, and then the custom orthotics are sent back to Washougal Sport and Spine-the process takes just two weeks from start to finish.
Please note that our intake form and questionnaire are available for online submission as well!
