Milva received her Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island.
She has been a practicing PT for over 20 years and is an orthopedic clinical specialist.
Many areas of rehabilitation have held an interest as she has specialized in many areas of treatment.
Aside from musculoskeletal disorders she has trained in several areas including core strengthening, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, pediatric, geriatric care and spinal stabilization.
Susan Almeida received her Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of RI; she has been practicing in the outpatient setting for 15 years.
Susan has experience in treating many orthopedic conditions including post surgical as well as neurological diagnoses.
She has provided therapy for a wide variety of patient diagnoses in various age groups and activity levels.
Susan has attended extensive continuing education seminars in the areas of manual training including muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, kinesio taping and strain/counter strain.
At A Healing Hand Physical Therapy we are equipped to offer professional, state of the art treatment, but our emphasis is on YOUR individual rehabilitation and healing in our nurturing and friendly environment.
Besides our open exercise area and semi private treatment space we offer 4 private treatment rooms for consultations and therapy applications when such a space is required or requested.
