Lynch Physical Therapy
Ryan Lynch culminated his education in physical therapy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. In the subsequent 19 years, he has consistently worked in the physical therapy field in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This experience has afforded him an extensive knowledge of the entire rehabilitation process, from initial injury and hospitalization to full recovery.

More recently, Ryan began to specialize in the treatment of TMJ pain. In the past 5 years, he has undergone extensive training in the field of TMD, jaw pain, and cervicogenic headaches, studying directly under the top physical therapists in this specialty. Today, Ryan Lynch is an active member of an elite group of physical therapists who are specialized in the treatment of orofacial and associated cervical pain.

With the distinction of CCTT, he is one of the only 75 physical therapists in North America who have qualified to specialize, through the PTBCCT (Physical Therapy Board of Craniofacial & Cervical Therapeutics) in this unique area.
Services
Ryan and his staff are amazing!
They're very friendly and knowledgeable and they made going to physical therapy an enjoyable experience.
In addition to my exercises, Ryan worked on my broken ankle to increase my range of motion each visit.
Through massage and dry needling he also worked extensively on my keloid scars.
It worked, they have completely smoothed out and flattened.
I definitely recommend them and would certainly visit them again if needed.
I can't recommend Lynch Physical Therapy enough!
These symptoms are often the result of a displacement of the articular disc of the TMJ.
This displaced disc then becomes an obstacle for normal jaw movement, frequently producing joint sounds with mouth opening and closing.
While this condition may sound severe, it rarely requires surgery and is very often fully managed with physical therapy TMJ treatment.
Education as to the changed mechanisms of the TMJ and maintenance strategies are key factors in the rehabilitation process.
Additionally, the resulting limited mouth opening and "lock jaw" are symptoms that are very successfully treated with skilled physical therapy.
