At Doug Dewey Physical Therapy, we specialize in hands on (manual) treatment of spine and extremities for recent or chronic painful muscle and joint conditions. Treatment consists of joint and/or soft tissue mobilizations, primarily using the technique of Strain and Counterstrain.

Strain and Counterstrain is a powerful soft tissue release technique which may help relieve tight muscles and stiff joints and other problems, that have been resistant to previous treatments, especially long-term chronic conditions, providing lasting effects and pain relief. We do not treat migraines, TMJ, neurological conditions (such as stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, or cerebral palsy), pediatric patients, acute sport injuries, pinched nerves or spinal stenosis.

We cannot provide post-operative rehabilitation. To contact Doug Dewey Physical Therapy call the number or contact email listed in the column above left.
