Mark Trombold has had the blessing, joy and honor of living his passion of helping others to find hope and regain their maximum function through his practice in physical therapy for the last 30 years. He is the only physical therapist in Seattle, and the entire West Coast, who is also a certified Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) therapist. Mark belongs to an elite group of MATRx Full Body Specialists where, through extensive training, he advanced his skills to the highest level.
With this highly specialized modality, and his extensive knowledge in physical therapy, has made him most effective in treating even the most complicated patients. He and his wife, Anne-Marie, have owned and been an integral part of a large, thriving physical therapy practice for the last 25 years. As incredible as that chapter was, it is now time for Mark to slow the pace a little and enjoy more of his other passions such as spending time with family, grandchildren, and embracing adventures.
He has found a way to meld these passions by moving to part time and creating a new model with Muscle Activation Physical Therapy, PLLC.

In order to bring patients the best possible care, Mark has decided to move to a cash-based model for his new practice.
The restrictions placed by third-party payers (insurance companies) has often interfered with his ability to help his patients to reach their optimal goals by limiting visits and dictating what and how he must treat.
Additionally, the cost of billing and collecting payments from third-party payers, as well as the difficulties in negotiating rates, has made running a small, solo practice non-viable under that model.
