Stover Physical Therapy
Stover Physical Therapy offers the southwest Oklahoma City and Moore Oklahoma area specialized physical therapy treatment for back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and many other painful musculoskeletal disorders. We have over 27 years of clinical experience and have achieved specialist status in our area of interest. We also perform functional capacity evaluations (FCE).

We develop active PT treatment programs to minimize or abolish pain, physical impairment, and maximize return to previous work and activities. More importantly, we know the importance of teaching our patients how to prevent recurrence and/or progression of their ailment is a critical key to successful rehabilitation. All patients seen at Stover Physical Therapy will receive a thorough evaluation from an experienced physical therapist specialist.

Every follow up visit afterwards will consist of some form of re evaluation by the same therapist to assure the patient's rehab program is effective, efficient, appropriate for their condition.

Don Stover was born and raised in Moore/South Oklahoma City graduating from Moore High School in 1986.
He graduated from Langston University in 1994 with a BS in physical therapy.
In 2011 he earned a doctorate degree in physical therapy (DPT) from A.T. Still University.
He is certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS).
Don was the first healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area to become credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) aka The McKenzie Method.
Stover Physical Therapy utilizes a unique evaluation and treatment approach known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) also known as The McKenzie Method.
MDT is the most researched and supported form of spinal therapy currently available.
MDT enables the skilled clinician to classify the patients disorder and develop a specific individualized treatment program.
The approach emphasizes patient education and participation in the management of their condition.
The skills and experience acquired by the patient during the treatment process enables the development of a long term preventive program.
