We are a Direct Access facility, meaning that we are authorized by state law to evaluate and treat you for up to 30 days without a physician referral. However, if Medicare is your primary insurance or if your injury is the result of an auto accident or work injury, a physician's prescription is still necessary. I opened Focus Physical Therapy 9 years after graduating from Slippery Rock University, School of Physical Therapy in 1992.
Since 2001, I have evaluated and treated well over 4,000 new patients.

At your first visit, we will advise you of any co-pays or deductibles you may be responsible for.
Upon receiving the EOB (Explanation of benefits) from the insurance company, you will receive notification of the amount owed, which is determined by the insurance company.
After the insurance company has made a payment on your behalf, you will be billed for any remaining deductible, co-insurance or co-pays which are determined by your specific policy.
