Services
CPT physical therapists have advanced training in several areas, such as ortho, neuro, manual, sport medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, etc.
Our goal is to restore full mobility, function and range of motion of muscles, joints, and the critical connective tissue holding them together.
Multiple online testimonials shared by our patients provide a good insight in what it is like to be treated by us, and what results you may expect.

Our certified therapists provide sports therapy to professional or recreational athletes in order to help them prevent injuries, or evaluate, and rehabilitate current ones.
Beyond minor abrasions, blisters, and cramps, the most common sports injuries are due to overuse.
Tennis players who repeatedly stress their forearm muscles may develop tennis elbow, runners whose shoes aren't supportive enough may be plagued by shin splints or runner's knee, and baseball players who don't work to strengthen their shoulder in the off-season may find themselves with a shoulder impingement.
Every surgery, even the most successful one, has a disruptive physiological impact on the body.
Our programs restore range of motion, muscle strength and joint mobility, and we help you regain the level of mobility that you had before the injury has occurred.
Post-operative exercises are progressive in nature and tailored specifically to patient's individual needs.
No two patients are alike and no two injuries are alike.
It is crucially important to take the full clinical picture into account when working with a post operative patient, and that is what we do here at the CPT.
A Trigger Point (TrPt) is a hyper irritable spot associated within a taut band of a skeletal muscle that is painful on compression or muscle contraction.
This spot usually responds with a referred pain pattern distant from the spot.
Very often there are nodules palpable within the muscle often at the size of 2-10mm.
They are usually in places where nerves connect the muscle fibers.
Trigger points are most common in sedentary persons between 27 and 55 years of age.
Trigger points can be mildly to extremely painful, depending on where they are.
Kinesio taping has been proven to have positive physiological effects on the skin, lymphatic and circulatory system, fascia, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints.
It can be used in conjunction with other treatments and modalities and it is effective during rehabilitation or as an equally successful preventative measure.
Taping provides support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion.
It can extend the benefits of manual therapy you receive at CPT for long after the appointment.
