The first visit is going to be a comprehensive full-body musculoskeletal evaluation.
You and the therapist will discuss your history, your concerns, and your goals.
She will explain more about physical therapy and the examination, and will try to include treatment on that first visit as well.
The examination will include an assessment of your spinal/joint mobility and range of motion, muscle function, posture, balance, and soft tissue mobility.
Your therapist will clearly explain everything beforehand.
