Pinti Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a team of individuals who work together to provide quality patient care while lending support to and being an integral part of the surrounding community. We are committed to helping individuals of our community overcome any physical challenge that would limit them from reaching their God-given potential.
We are dedicated to being the area's leading resource for physicians and patients seeking quality out-patient rehabilitaion services. I came to Mark and Kelly Pinti with an incomplete diagnosis and barely able to walk at times, from much pain in back and left leg. Mark diagnosed me, his diagnosis later verified via an MRI. Now, after 3 weeks of physical therapy, I am pain free nearly all of the time!
I am again walking with my spouse and enjoying life, looking forward to the future! Thanks to all at Pinti! -Ralph V.

Pinti Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine opened for business in September of 1998.
Mark Pinti, a native of Clarksburg, WV and his wife Kelly Pinti returned to north central WV with a dream of opening their own physical therapy practice.
Both Mark and Kelly are graduates of the University of Pittsburgh's Physical Therapy School.
They spent over 10 years each working side by side with some of the top surgeons and physical therapists in the United States.
Mark and Kelly attribute much of the success they have had in treating patients with various injuries and disabilities to the training they received in their formative years while in Pittsburgh.

Balance disorders are the third most common complaint to primary care physicians and in the emergency room affecting 90 million people annually.
At Pinti Physical Therapy, we offer a comprehensive evaluation followed by a customized treatment plan and home exercise program to "re-calibrate" the balance system.
By identifying those at risk for falls as well as assessing and treating these balance and dizziness disorders, we have found great success in helping many patients regain their independence as well as improving their quality of life.

WE offer evaluation, treatment, and fabrication of custom orthotics for all ages.
Our physical therapists have undergone specialized training and years of experience in gait biomechanics to evaluate the need for custom orthotics and the ability to fit the right orthotic to meet the specific needs of each patient.
An orthotic device with specific components will be matched to meet the needs of the patient in terms of diagnosis, age, and activity level.
Each patient will have a complete biomechanical evaluation and assessment to determine their particular problems or dysfunctions.

Our clinical approach to the treatment of TMJ/Craniomandibular dysfunction centers around restoration of the appropriate length, strength, and function of the soft tissue surrounding the upper quarter.
This includes the correction of the cervicothoracic spine, head position, and postural influences on mandibular dynamics.
Success in physical therapy with TMJ patients centers around mechanical correction of all of these areas through the use of therapeutic exercise, mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and myofascial release.
