Hilton Head Physical Therapy offers one-on-one personalized treatment for acute injuries, pre and post surgical rehabilitation, and management of chronic diseases. We will treat each patient uniquely, with compassion and integrity. We specialize in assessing the individual patient in order to evaluate, diagnose and treat the cause of injury.

Chronic care management requires the therapist to work in conjunction with physicians, nurses and family members to maximize a patient's mobility and independence in the home or community.We have over 30 years of combined experience specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological and movement disorders, balance training, post-surgical rehabilitation, and more!

We are located at 1012 William Hilton Parkway, Suite 7 on the south end of Hilton Head Island right around the corner from the Sea Pines Circle. Just minutes away from Sea Pines, Shipyard, Wexford and Long Cove! Helping you get back to doing what you want sooner with direct access to treatment with or without a physician referral.

We offer private therapy/personal training from a licensed therapist for those who want to exercise under the guidance of a therapist due to complex medical issues and/or to avoid injury.

Our team now has certified clinicians available to provide this type of treatment.
Dry needling follows evidence-based guidelines for relieving pain, addressing neuromuscular conditions and improving joint range of motion.

Arrive at your appointment with your paperwork completed (you can download it from our website here).
Palpation - touching around the area of the pain/problem.
This is done to check for the presence of tenderness, swelling, soft tissue integrity, tissue temperature, inflammation, etc.
Range of Motion (ROM) - the therapist will move the joint(s) to check for the quality of movement and any restrictions.
Muscle Testing - the therapist may check for strength and the quality of the muscle contraction.
