Some cases of chronic pain can be traced to a specific injury or trauma, that has long since passed or healed - for example; a physical injury, a serious infection or a surgical incision. Other cases have no apparent cause - no prior injury and an absence of underlying tissue damage. Frequently, that pain is rooted in a traumatic, emotional experience or event.

Discover the extraordinary benefits of 'Integrative Manual Therapy' (IMT), when the whole person - body, mind and spirit, are appreciated and treated. Our mission as highly specialized Integrative Manual and Physical Therapists is providing the most comprehensive service possible to our patients and clients, for the most efficient and expedient outcomes.

A rocky childhood. A violent assault. A car accident. If these are in your past, they could be affecting your present health. Traumatic life events are held at a cellular level or in the ground substance (fascia) of the body. These are not merely memories but are specific bodies of energy.

Cindy's 'Mission Statement' has a singular vision and commitment.
That is; to provide superior quality rehabilitative services that patients recommend to family and friends, but more importantly, services which Physicians choose for their patients.

Whether you're experiencing general back pain or sciatica, our Libertyville, IL physical therapy practice can help.
The American Physical Therapy Association states that back pain is the most commonly experienced form of pain for Americans.
In fact, one in every four Americans has sustained some sort of back pain in the past three months.
Back pain commonly results from a muscle strain or injury; however, sometimes the back pain you're experiencing is the result of sciatica.
Sciatica is a common and very specific type of back pain.
The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) states that approximately one-third of the population experiences neck pain every year.
The neck is an integral part of your everyday movements, and neck pain can create undesirable challenges on daily tasks you can usually complete with ease.
If left untreated, neck pain can lead to some serious conditions, and surgical correction may even be needed.
Do you experience pain or discomfort while sitting in your desk chair at work, tilting your head down to tie your shoes, or while trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in at night?
Physical therapy isn't normally someone's first thought when they have a headache - most of the time, the common reaction is to take some form of pain-relieving medication.
This may help to relieve pain in the short-term, but if you are constantly suffering from headaches or migraines, pain relief drugs will not provide you with the same long-term effects that physical therapy will.
A greater majority of headaches are attributed to cervicogenic headaches, meaning that they are related to the neck in some form.
