Services
We are certified in and use the unique McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) which goes beyond typical physical therapy.
Greater than 80% of patients with musculoskeletal pain can resolve their problems once they know how.
Our patients learn mechanical tools to 'self-adjust' their body and valuable skills to remain symptom free.
Dr. Linnae Viles received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Hope College in 2006 and continued on by earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2009.
At ReSOLVE we pride ourselves on being certified practitioners of the most current, research-backed method of physical therapy to assess, diagnose, and treat our patients.
The McKenzie method is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education for back, neck, and limb problems.
The initial assessment provides a safe and reliable way to accurately reach a diagnosis and only then make the appropriate treatment plan.
Expensive tests are rarely required because Certified MDT clinicians can identify signs to know if-and how-the McKenzie Method will work for each patient.
Experts in spine health and getting clients back to their everyday lives, our team of Certified MDT clinicians focuses not just on treating the pain or discomfort, but determining and treating the cause.
Utilizing Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy we'll show you how to prevent symptom recurrence so that your focus can return back to life.
About 8 in 10 of us will experience back or neck pain at some point in our lives, and for some it can be severe, debilitating, and recurring.
It's our body's core, after all.
Hip and knee replacement surgeries are some of the most common operations performed in the U.S., with about 1 million completed each year.
Add to that another 1.5 million surgeries to include the number of back and neck procedures performed in the U.S. yearly.
Each one of these patients share one thing in common: their desire to get back to the level of work, play, and function they enjoyed before first experiencing pain.
The physical therapy team at ReSOLVE can get you there.
Working with a mechanical physical therapist, many are able to identify and treat the source of symptoms and decrease or eliminate the pain with simple movement strategies resolving the issue non-surgically.
Whether you're a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, soreness, pain and injury can quickly derail your efforts to reach your fullest potential.
So when sports injuries happen, your goal is to heal quickly, safely, and get back to the top of your game with an eye toward preventing future injuries.
That's our goal, as well, at ReSOLVE Grand Haven Physical Therapy.
As experts in movement and the musculoskeletal system, mechanical physical therapists serve as your first line of care when you experience pain, discomfort or injury while living life, training, or competing in your sport.
