Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance was founded in 2007 by two local Delaware physical therapists, Pat Williams PT, MPT, OCS, and Tom Windley PT, MPT, Ph. D. Pat and Tom sought to bring the region another level of care focused on the highest standards of clinical excellence in the region. Their focus on that excellence was, and is, driving the success of the health of Premier's patients and communities.
Since 2007, Premier has grown their model of clinical excellence with the addition of partners Wayne Woodzell PT, MPT, SCS; Jen Atwood PT, DPT, OCS, SCS; Katie Fulton PT, DPT, OCS & Rick Beeson PT, DPT, OCS. Together the team has created an environment to continue to enable the growth of physical therapists who have a patient-centered focus on the development of the highest clinical standards.

Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment by clinicians to treat muscle aches, joint pain, and limited range of motion.
It encompasses a variety of techniques including soft tissue mobilization of muscles, specific joint mobilization, and joint manipulation.
Massage is typically the repetitive rubbing, stripping or kneading of muscle and fascia tissues to facilitate healing.
Mobilization is a slower, more controlled process of articular and soft-tissue stretching intended to improve joint mobility.

A balance disorder is a condition that makes you feel unsteady or dizzy.
If you are standing, sitting, or lying down, you might feel as if you are moving, spinning, or floating.
If you are walking, you might suddenly feel as if you are tipping over.
Everyone has a dizzy spell now and then, but the term "dizziness" can mean different things to different people.
For one person, dizziness might mean a fleeting feeling of faintness, while for another it could be an intense sensation of spinning (vertigo) that lasts a long time.
