We recognize that today's insurance environment is often complicated and confusing for patients and their families.
1. Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
Most insurance plans require a prescription for physical therapy from your doctor to declare the treatment medically necessary.
2. How long is the prescription good for?
Prescriptions are typically written for 4 to 6 weeks, and will be accepted by a therapy office for a period of 30 days from the day it was written.
4. Will my insurance cover physical therapy?
Most major insurance companies will cover physical therapy, call your insurance provider to see what benefits you have or ask your therapy office to verify your benefits.
We think we're pretty good at what we do, but it's even nicer when your clients think we rock!
