At Advanced Manual Physical Therapy, we use cutting edge treatment techniques to eliminate restrictions, improve movement, and enable an active and healthy lifestyle. ART is considered the gold standard in soft tissue treatment. With over 500 unique protocols, ART is a powerful tool to treat injuries to muscle, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.

Integrative Dry Needling is a highly effective form of Physical Therapy for the treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Graston Technique is an evidenced-based soft tissue technique used to detect and treat areas of "scar tissue" or adhesions that can reduce range of motion and cause pain. RockTape is a kinesiology tape popular amongst professional athletes and is an invaluable tool for improving circulation to muscles, reducing pain, and improving performance.

Dr. Joe Rigby is the owner of Advanced Manual Physical Therapy. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Northeastern University.
Services
At Advanced Manual Physical Therapy, we're breaking free from the traditional healthcare model.
Rather than focusing on patient volume, we insist on providing an uncompromised and specialized level of care to each patient.
We take each client through a series of movement analysis screens, as well as specialized testing, to identify the cause of injury or decreased performance.
We then develop a customized treatment plan to help each client achieve their goals.
Standard treatments last an hour.
In a typical session at AMPT, we focus on hands-on treatment followed by retraining movement patterns.
Using advanced screening techniques, such as the Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA), we can determine where your movement patterns may be breaking down and causing injury.
This allows us to diagnose the source of the problem, rather than just chasing the symptoms.
Considered the gold standard of soft tissue treatment, ART is used to assess and treat muscle, ligament, and tendon dysfunction.
During an ART treatment, you will move a specific muscle or joint through it's full range of motion while the practitioner applies a targeted pressure to the structure of consequence.
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world's leading organization dedicated to studying the connection between the body and the golf swing.
TPI works with golfers of all skill levels ranging from weekend enthusiasts to top Tour professionals.
Through their five unique fields of study: Golf, Medical, Fitness, Power and Junior Development, TPI seeks to create a cohesive team around each golfer to maximize their performance and decrease risk of injury.
At AMPT, we use the screen developed by TPI to analyze how your body moves and how this relates to your golf swing.
