The body is designed to heal itself after injury or disease. Sometimes it doesn't happen as fast or as well as needed. Physical Therapy can give your body the help it needs to get back to health and mobility. People come for help for a variety of reasons: orthopedic problems, neck and low back pain, vertigo, balance and dizziness problems, fear of falling, and simply to improve strength and athletic performance.

Contact me for an appointment today. Specialized therapy to deal with dizziness, vertigo, BPPV, fall risk and other imbalance problems. A testimonial -- I struggled with plantar fasciitis in my left foot for 2 years. I tried all kinds of things but nothing helped - injections, orthotics, Physical Therapy, nothing. Then my local podiatrist sent me to see Yorick to try shockwave therapy.

Finally! The treatment is at times a bit painful, but it works! 6 treatments later I now have only minimal discomfort left. What a great tool!
Services
I am proud to offer my physical therapy services in the Valley.
People come to see me for a variety of reasons: from relatively straightforward orthopedic issues like muscle or joint sprains to much more complex issues like stiffness induced by ration treatment, low back and neck pain, vertigo and balance problems, or a need to sharpen speed and reaction times for competitive reasons.
A key differentiator of this practice is the skill of the practitioner.
I have acquired advanced skills and technology in a number of areas to address your specific needs.
Most people have had or will have some exposure to physical therapy at some point in their life.
Usually the process starts when an injury or disease makes it hard to continue doing the 'normal things' in life like engaging in sports, moving around the house or even something as basic as drinking or eating.
Most physical therapy practices are what I would call generalist physical therapy practices, where the basic services and techniques are offered.
Relatively few practices offer the more advanced, specialized treatment techniques and technology that you will find at this practice.
The site will offer educational opportunities and information on rehab skills and technology.
The first focus will be on Speech Language Pathologists and the use of NMES for Dysphagia.
We should be going live in the next.
I recently treated a 93-year-old patient with a compression fracture of T12 sustained during a fall a few months prior.
She had difficulty walking and moving around as a result of the significant forward bended posture.
She also had significant pain in the back because of the 'wrong' biomechanics around the thoracolumbar area.
