Serving Traverse City, Acme, Williamsburg, Elk Rapids, Kalkaska, Keewadin, Rapid City areas, and more! To educate the patient about the physical therapy experience! I want to make this PT experience a LIFE-CHANGING one! As a PT, it is my job to get to the ROOT of the problem and to fix the mechanical/physical issue, not just put a "band-aid"/short-term solution on the symptoms of what is usually a long-term problem.
TOGETHER, we will BOTH work (yes, you will have to do some work!) to determine the cause of the injury/pain and I will do my best (as frustrating as it can be at times!) to understand the obstacles of the patient, and together determine the best treatment plan for the individual patient. The goal is not to bill you/insurance, but to MOST importantly to educate and determine life-long skills for the patient to use and become their best, functional, active SELF!
Misten grew up in the Chicagoland area and received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree (and Big Ten softball championship!) from Indiana University (sorry all of you Michigan fans!).
