At Mashpee Physical Therapy it is our mission to treat patients with compassion while providing highly skilled and knowledgeable rehabilitation. We are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the injury. Our clinic is designed to feel very "un-clinical". We take great pride in maintaining a familiarity, where each patient is greeted by name when they walk through the door.

Our team promotes wellness and injury prevention in order to keep patients healthy, long after they have recovered. Our therapists are highly skilled and certified in multiple manual therapy techniques to better manage your pain. We offer pre-surgical "prehab" consultations to tailor a program specific to your surgical needs. Post surgical rehab features PT treatment between 2-3x/week to fast track progress as allowed by your MD.

Our goal is to provide you with techniques to better manage your pain. Chronic pain management can often be resolved with correcting movement and building strength. One of our passions at Mashpee PT is Orthopedic Rehabilitation.

We take great pride in maintaining a familiarity, where each patient is greeted by name when they walk through the door.
Here, patients receive an unprecedented consistency of care while going through the recovery process.
Each patient can expect a hands-on approach to their therapy.
Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment by clinicians to treat muscle aches, joint pain, and limited range of motion.
It encompasses a variety of techniques including soft tissue mobilization of muscles, specific joint mobilization, and joint manipulation.
Mobilization is a slower, more controlled process of articular and soft-tissue stretching intended to improve joint mobility.
Massage is typically the repetitive rubbing, stripping or kneading of muscle and fascia tissues to facilitate healing.
Surgeons routinely refer post-surgical patients to our physical therapists to help them recover strength, function and mobility.
Our therapists provide one-on-one, evidence-based physical therapy treatment sessions to help facilitate your recovery and return to activities of daily living (ADLs), work, recreational activities and even competitive sports.

Chronic pain is pain that lasts more than several months (variously defined as 3 to 6 months, but certainly longer than "normal healing").
It's a very common problem.
About 25.3 million U.S. adults (11.2 percent) had pain every day for the previous 3 months.
Individuals with severe pain had worse health, used more health care, and had more disability than those with less severe pain.
Patient education - physical therapists help chronic pain patients understand that chronic pain is complex involving more than damaged muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joint tissues.
