Following a comprehensive initial evaluation, a treatment plan will be individually designed and implemented for the patient using the latest therapeutic techniques and technology.
At Long Pond Physical Therapy we feature equipment you will not find at every clinic, including adjustable high/low tables, mechanical cervical/lumbar traction tables, and rehabilitation specific medical exercise therapy equipment.
Long Pond Physical Therapy will coordinate efforts with your doctor in order to determine the most appropriate treatment options.
We like to think of wellness visits as a quick tune-up on the body or a single "feel good" session.
It may be getting stretched out before a day of golf or tennis match, some moist heat on the back after shoveling a driveway, or a massage on the feet after running a 5k.
Wellness sessions are in no way intended as a substitute for physician ordered physical therapy.
Wellness session will consist of some brief questioning to obtain relevant history as well as determining what services will be beneficial.
Rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit with a relaxing and healing massage.
A Massage can reverse the negative effects of stress, repair damaged muscle tissue, and remove pain throughout your body.
I employ a range of massage techniques that improve circulation, detoxify your body, relieve tension, improve digestion, enhance muscle tone, and increase mental alertness.
This is a well know and common form of body work.
Its goal is relaxation.
This is accomplished by utilizing several techniques such as firm, long gliding strokes, kneading and circular friction.
