Repetitive strain injuries (RSI) include a large group of conditions that primarily impact soft tissue involving muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments.
RSI is caused by improper technique, posture and repeated motions performed over the course of normal work or daily activities.
Repetitive strain injuries are also known as cumulative trauma disorders, repetitive motion disorders, overuse syndromes and repetitive stress injuries.
Repetitive strain injuries can usually be self-diagnosed but some people may exhibit no obvious sign of injury, although they may find it difficult to perform their usual tasks.

The neck, or the cervical region of the spine, is made up of 7 cervical vertebrae labeled C1 - C7.
There are intervertebral discs (IVD), made of cartilage between each cervical vertebrae, which serve as shock absorbers.
The cervical spine typically has a slight inward curve known as cervical lordosis.
The bones, ligaments, and muscles in your neck support the weight of your head and allows the head to move.
Any abnormalities, inflammation, or injury can cause pain or stiffness in the neck.
Many people commonly experience neck pain or stiffness due to poor posture or overuse.
