Cynergy Physical Therapy NYC is a manual and functional based physical therapy practice treating orthopedic and neurological impairments for our patients in New York City since 2001. What sets us apart from other physical therapy clinics is our one-on-one, individualized, holistic approach where you are the sole focus of your sessions. Your treatments are provided by licensed physical, occupational and hand therapists.
We do not have PT aides or assistants, rest assured your therapist will be with you for the entirety of your care. This place is honestly the best! I have a back issue and was originally going somewhere else for PT, let me tell you Cynergy is above and beyond anywhere I have been. Cynergy is #1 for physical therapy! I went last year for knee replacement strengthening and am now going for my painful foot and knee.
My therapist, Kim, is impressive - friendly, gentle, focused, and skillful. I can't possibly say enough good things about the entire staff here at Cynergy PT. Shereen is the most knowledgeable and professional person I have worked with in this field.

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a patented, state of the art, movement based manual therapy system administered by certified professionals to target soft tissue structures of the body.
Soft tissue structures targeted by ART include muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
The main goal is to reestablish proper motion between these structures.
This technique can help to increase blood flow, release adhesions and scar tissue, and aims to increase mobility while decreasing dysfunction.
Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee pain and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.
