Whether you're suffering from chronic pain, recovering from an injury or surgery, got hurt on the job, or simply want to go through your daily activities without pain, Summit Physical Therapy can help put the joy of pain-free movement back into your life. We appreciate that pain can make you anxious, uncomfortable, and you might be uncertain about how we can help.
Nearly all insurances cover physical therapy. However, each plan has its own coverage limits, deductibles, and co-pays. You may want to call your insurance or review your member handbook to see what physical therapy benefits your plan provides. We are happy to see patients on a self-pay basis, and payment plans are always available. What makes us unhappy is folks who don't get the care they need because of financial concerns.
If you're on your own, payment-wise, don't delay treatment. Come in and start feeling better, and we can work out the rest. I have enjoyed working with Paul Kane. His treatment was personalized and he always made sure I understood the exercises and my treatment plan.

There is a small sign to watch for that says "East Lot."

Our office is not a large, impersonal clinic where you may end up feeling like just another blip on the schedule.
Instead, you will be greeted by name, and welcomed into a relaxed and comfortable environment.
You might even get a nuzzle from our resident dog and greeter, Teddy.
We are proud to be the kind of clinic that patients recommend to their families and friends.
Experience has shown that you will receive better care - and have a better outcome - if you see the same therapist every time.
Your therapist will be with you through the entire course of your care.

If you have an upcoming joint replacement surgery, your doctor may recommend "pre-hab."
Pre-hab is physical therapy done in the weeks just prior to your surgery.
Properly executed, this can dramatically decrease the recovery time after surgery.
It focuses on strengthening the muscles that surround the joint that is going to be replaced.
For example, you will have a much easier time recovering from a knee replacement if your thigh muscles are already strong and flexible.
Even with pre-hab, you will still need PT after surgery.

One of the most common conditions we treat is spine-related pain, particularly in the neck or low back.
Sometimes the pain begins acutely, as a result of a strain or other injury.
Or it can come on slowly, over weeks, months or even years, until suddenly you realize that you haven't had a pain-free day in a long time.
You may not be able to pinpoint when or how this chronic pain began.
If this sounds familiar, you've come to the right place.
Medications such as prescription opioids do nothing to actually eliminate your pain.
