Performance Plus Physical Therapy
Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR) is popularly used by athletes and physical rehabilitation patients alike. BFR takes advantage of the body's healing properties by challenging it to do more work, but under less physical strain - getting the best bang for your buck while NOT placing your tissues at risk of injury under loads greater than it can handle.

At PPPT, our staff is committed to providing exceptional physical therapy care to the South Bay. From initial evaluation to discharge, our team will work to make your entire experience a success. We will work together to reduce pain, improve mobility and return you to a pain free, healthy, active lifestyle. At PPPT, pain is no longer an option. We look forward to working with you and can't wait to get started.

Just as we're committed in caring for YOU, the patient - we value the fact that we must also care for our team. Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Post-Operative Rehabilitation, and proudly serving as San Diego's Leader in Land and Aquatic Physical Therapy.
Services
At Performance Plus Physical Therapy (PPPT), we believe the key to a successful patient care experience is genuine care and compassionate listening.
To truly examine and uncover the root cause of pain, dysfunction, weakness, stiffness, immobility, or any other physical symptom - it's important to understand a person's story, their journey, their life style, and their motivations.
While we specialize in orthopedics, sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation, and are fluent in techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, trigger point release, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular facilitation, and many other clinical approaches - there is one thing we feel is universal to the human experience when receiving care as a patient.
As the leading aquatic therapy provider in the South Bay, Performance Plus Physical Therapy combines 86-degree water, the decreased gravitational loads and the resistance of the water as well as the expertise of our specially trained aquatic Physical Therapists to provide highly effective, individualized water therapy to a variety of patients.
During your thorough initial evaluation, a Doctor of Physical Therapy will determine if aquatic therapy may be an effective supplement to your land-based therapy.
For your convenience, we've made these new patient forms available for online submissions.
This will save you time as you arrive for your first appointment, getting you seen quickly by skipping on-site-paperwork.
DEDUCTIBLE Your policy's deductible is a dollar amount that you are required to pay out of pocket before your insurance benefits start to apply.
CO-INSURANCE Your co-insurance is a percentage that represents your share of the financial responsibility for each claim's allowed amount after your deductible is met.
