Sports physical therapy starts with a thorough assessment and understanding of the injury. Then, it is important to know where the athlete is in their training/competitive season. With an understanding of the injury and timeline to return competition, the therapist will develop specific goals and measures for safe return to sport. Dave and his team were fantastic in helping me recover from shoulder surgery.

Super knowledgable, thoughtful, flexible with timing, and eager to work with your goals vs a standard template. They also don't try to put you on a super frequent program, as many PTs do. Valerie and David took care of me after my knee replacement surgery. Both are 5-star professionals and I always felt so good that I didn't want to leave when the session was up.

I would recommend them in a New York minute for anyone who has some sort of body pain. Went to Magnolia Physical Therapy for hip bursitis for several weeks. My therapist was competent and as I completed my exercises my symptoms gradually decreased.

Manual therapy describes those "hands on" techniques we use to improve patient outcomes.

These techniques allow the therapist to decrease pain, improve range of motion (ROM), decrease tissue inflammation, improve soft tissue repair, facilitate movement and improve function.
Our therapists have spent years in post-graduate training and clinical practice mastering these manual therapy techniques.
