Crossover Physical Therapy is a member practice of Therapy Partners and is in network with all major insurances but also offers cash-based payment plans. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009. I have a variety of experience and first began practicing Physical Therapy in Flagstaff, AZ from 2009 to 2010 then Gilbert, AZ from 2010 to 2014 and Maple Grove, MN from 2014-current.
In 2015 I became level 1 certified as a CrossFit Trainer. I have a passion for manual therapy and an overall goal to help patients get their lives back through functional movement. By beginning Crossover Physical Therapy I now have the opportunity to apply my Physical Therapy experience to help CrossFit athletes and persons within my local community.
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients with injuries from head to toe, literally. So whether you are an athlete, average Joe or Soccer mom, I would love the opportunity to help you.

I had a unique experience in that Dr. Michael Simon recognized I was in pain and not moving as I should during his Mobility class.
He did not wait for me to make an appointment and instead within two hours after the class he reached out to me and offered to help outside of normal business hours.
Dr. Michael Simon is very knowledgeable and skilled as a Physical Therapist however it is in his generosity of spirit & self and his genuine care & concern for the wellbeing of all of us he helps in which he stands far above the rest!

Crossover Physical Therapy uses a multidimensional approach to manage and prevent running injuries.
Our running assessments cover a range of evaluations that leave you with a plan to conquer your running season.
Running history: old and current injuries are reviewed in order to gain an understanding of their influence on your movement patterns.
Biomechanical assessment: A gait analysis is used to assess how your anatomical structure, joint mobility, and muscle length and/or imbalances may impact your stride, disposition for injuries, and performance.

Dry needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.
Often times, alternative soft tissue treatments require multiple sessions to achieve the same effect as one or two 10 minute needling sessions.
Results may vary, but the majority of patients see a significant improvement after one or two dry needling sessions.
