Balanced Physical Therapy first opened in Mt Clemens, Michigan in September of 2020. We are a proud locally owned outpatient therapy practice that specializes in orthopedic injuries, surgery recovery, and balance training. Patient safety is always our top priority, which is why all our patients work directly with a licensed and certified DPT. This includes our high standards of cleanliness and sanitizing equipment between every appointment.
Our mission is to provide the Macomb County area with exceptional care at every step of the treatment process. Making sure appointment scheduling, insurance verification, case management, and therapy treatments are easy, accurate, and effective. All of our physical therapy appointments are one hour sessions, allowing patients to get a full treatment while not feeling so rushed.
We love to take the time to fully understand everything about you, your condition, goals, and other health factors. Each session includes evidence-based treatments, manual techniques, and a variety of therapy equipment to get you the best results.

SFMA is a diagnostic tool used to assess specific movement patterns to identify musculoskeletal dysfunctions in individuals suffering from pain.
This assessment allows us to be more pattern-specific on how people move in relation to their diagnosis and body structure.
At Balanced Physical Therapy, we strive to look at our patients through a whole-body approach not only to improve their pain, but to change functional movement patterns to protect you from further injury.
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a type of manual therapy practice used to decrease tension and restrictions between the different layers of the musculoskeletal system.

I started Balanced Physical Therapy with the goal of treating patients to the best of my ability and to not be bound down by larger corporate policies.
Every patient has their own unique set of circumstances that require patience to understand and willingness to do what's best.
Dr. Rob enjoys treating patients of all ages and backgrounds with various conditions, with a strong interest in balance deficit, orthopedic injuries, and surgery recovery.
A fun fact about him is that he chose physical therapy after being given a medical red flag when enlisting in the military.
