Ouachita Physical Therapy
Ouachita & Winnsboro Physical Therapy is the leading physical therapy and wellness facility in the Monroe and Winnsboro, Louisiana area. My experience at Ouachita Physical Therapy has been excellent. My therapist, Nick, has been very professional, kind, dedicated and very knowledgeable about what I needed to get better. With the help of my therapist, Hannah, at Ouachita Physical Therapy, I have been able to retain and increase my range of motion, relieved of neuropathy in my legs, and my back is straighter and stronger.

I recommend OPT to all of my friends and even strangers who have any type of pain. When I started coming here, I didn't know what to expect. I found it so beneficial that I couldn't miss one visit. Then, my PT Nick, introduced me to the deep tissue laser therapy and I definitely didn't want to miss after that. It has been the best thing to get me back to my normal routine.

I would recommend it to anyone! Learn to manage arthritis pain without medication, injections, or surgery at our free arthritis workshop.

Our expert physical therapists have years of specialized training to provide gentle, specific hands on techniques to address muscle and joint injuries.
According to the best available data, about 80 percent of the population will experience back pain or neck pain in their lifetimes.
Those bouts don't include minor incidents like the occasional twinge, but instead the serious sprains, strains, spasms and impaired range of motion problems that make it so hard to function.
In some cases, the causes of your back and neck pain may be obvious - if you've recently been in a car accident or suffered a sports injury, for example.
Often, however, problems can develop through poor posture or from having to perform the same action repeatedly.
Your hips and knees: they're the largest joints in your body, connecting a large number of muscles, bones and ligaments.
That means that much of the daily abuse that your body takes can ultimately impact your hips and knees.
And when these crucial joints begin to show strain, it can become difficult to move much at all - at least without pain.
For that reason, it's important to seek medical attention for hip and knee pain as soon as possible.
Often, physical therapy can be the key to avoiding surgery or prescription medication altogether, or rebounding quickly from those less conservative treatments.
Our feet bear the brunt of everything we do in our daily lives once we're upright.
They absorb the shock impact of all of the steps, stumbles and heavy jogging strikes that we ask of them.
And, of course, we often "ask" this while wearing high heels, or other footwear with virtually no support where it's needed.
In fact, the lower part of our body is such a complex interplay of bones, tendons and joints that it shouldn't be a surprise when some sort of problem eventually shows up.
You probably won't be able to "outrun" some level of ankle or foot pain in your lifetime, whether you're a sports junkie or a couch potato.
