Dr. Jeanann Maguffin is the owner of Scoliosis Care Physical Therapy. Jeanann is a graduate of New York University's Physical Therapy program. She received a Master's in Orthopedic Medicine and a Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College. Through the American Physical Therapy Association she is certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) - since 2003.
Jeanann co-instructs cadaver dissection at Touro College (since 2006) and is a guest lecturer on Scoliosis and the Schroth Method to physical therapy graduate students. She also lectures on the topics of scoliosis and spine care at conferences and community groups. Jeanann specializes in the individualized one on one care of each person; with a skilled, comprehensive, hands-on approach.
She has trained extensively with the Institute of Physical Art (training in functional manual therapy), Shirley Sahrmann (movement system impairments), Brian Hoke (foot and ankle), Kevin Wilk (shoulder, hip and knee), temporomandibular joint disorders and kinesio taping, to name a few.

Dr. Rigo has traveled to the USA many times since 2004, and it is through his efforts that we have Physical Therapists certified in the Schroth-based Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School Method (BSPTS) in this country.
