Momentum Physical Therapy & Wellness
Beth Andrews had the idea to open her own physical therapy practice when she was providing pain relief and recovery for some of the most complicated cases. She knew the time was right to open her own practice when she started helping patients avoid surgery. Momentum Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC on Long Point Rd. in Mt. Beth sees all types of diagnoses that need relief from pain.

The top five pain conditions she sees are Low Back and Neck pain with or without Radiculopathy (pain into the leg or arm), Shoulder, Knee, and all types of Foot pain including Plantarfascitis. We also handle recovery from surgery such as Joint Replacement, Fracture Repairs or Rotator Cuff Repairs. Our exercise techniques effectively restore your joint's ability to move again without provoking you with unnecessary increased pain and soreness during your recovery.

I want to thank Beth Andrews for her patience and professionalism in treating my hip pain. Her knowledge of back issues was very important in selecting the appropriate exercises to improve both, and aggravate neither.

Momentum Physical Therapy & Wellness summarizes this list in a neat package by stating we treat clients who are in pain.

And while we know that most movements hurt right now, we are experts at choosing the right exercises to return clients to pain-free movement.
Beth decided to open her own clinic when she started helping patients avoid many types of surgery.
Momentum's practice philosophy is to provide all clients with personal care and attention.
The combination of being well trained in pain-relieving exercise systems and a doctorate in physical therapy provides outstanding results.
Beth attended the University of South Carolina before transferring to the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received a B.S. in Physical Therapy.
She returned to school and received her clinical doctorate degree in 2016 with Evidence in Motion.
Patient specific exercise is a phrase we use often at Momentum Physical Therapy & Wellness.
What does it really mean?
We do not use handouts prepared in advance before we even meet you and discover what you need.
A handout is a pre-printed list of commonly used exercises for a certain condition that generally only provide temporary relief.
Once you stop these exercises your pain eventually returns.
We have a collection of many exercises that are researched based and are proven to relieve pain.
These pain relieving exercises have been collected from many researchers in the field of pain relief over the last thirty years.
Your physical therapy at Momentum will be specifically related to your condition.
A thorough evaluation will be performed with answers provided on your first visit.
Each subsequent visit, you will receive new exercises or an advanced version of the current exercises you are performing.
Exercises are the tools that repair and restore movement and strength.
You should expect specific, targeted, exercises to address your individual issues.
There are literally hundreds of exercises for painful conditions and each exercise has several versions.
