Our organs work better, our circulatory system works better, our brains work better, everything works better when we move.
We are happier and healthier when we move.
When our body receives an injury our body's instinct is to protect the area.
The body responds with pain, swelling, and muscle guarding.
These reactions cause us to change our movement patterns.
Often it is the response of the body to the injury that is most limiting and prolongs healing time.
Excessive muscle and tissue guarding can restrict blood flow, pinch nerves, and reduce range of motion.
