Services
Rehabilitation Hospitals We take great pride in our commitment to total patient care, professionalism and respect, provided throughout the rehabilitation process, helping us restore, as fully as possible, the skills, confidence, and independence our patients need to return to a quality, satisfying life.
Transitional Care Units Whittier’s Transitional Care Units offer short-term rehabilitative care for patients who need additional time to transition to home safely after their hospital stay.
Skilled Nursing Facilities In designing living accommodations, we paid special attention to details. Private and semi-private rooms are pleasantly decorated. Each has an individual look. They are large enough to truly allow for optimum comfort and convenience. Each has a private bath. Residents are encouraged to add their personal touch to their rooms.
Home Health Care The Whittier Home Health Care Agency provides high quality medical and rehabilitation services for patients in the comfort of their own home, with services provided by a highly trained, caring, compassionate, and experienced clinical team member.
Physical Therapy Physical therapists have a wide range of modalities in their toolboxes to meet various patient needs. Exercise and strengthening programs are individualized to challenge patients, starting at the most basic level and progressing in complexity as patients gain strength, endurance, and function throughout their stay.

My experience starting with the check in was great, the very pleasant young lady that took all my info was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Daniel Lococo NP explained the results of my knee X-rays, he even did an exam of my knee. Some others I have seen never examined my knee, I highly recommend Whittier! My follow up appointment was on time, and again Daniel Lococo was great. Thanks 😊.

Whittier rehab is very respectable. I know some of the doctors, some of the people from rehab. My experience was awesome. I liked all of the people that helped me. They were very knowledgeable, very respectable. And Whittier rehab is the only rehab that I will ever go to because Whittier rehab is the best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be. Thank you for helping me with my issues especially the wound care unit. They know their stuff. Thank you.

I understand healthcare because it's been my life's endeavor. Whittier's rehabilitation facility was selected for my restoration, of a complex fractured hip, because it was geographically located near my daughter's home. My preference would have been to be closer to my own home in Winchester. My daughter's choice, however, proved to be a God's send for my rehabilitation.

Here is my testimonial: "It is not the physical structure of a healthcare facility that is the most important factor to be considered when dealing with people who are in immediate need of rehabilitation. No, it is, without doubt, the healthcare professionals who have dedicated their careers to help others get well. Those professional, including executives, doctors, registered nurses, CNAs, physical and occupational therapist, students as well as custodial workers all played a major role in helping me get home to my surroundings where my rehabilitation will be continued." Thank you Lisa, my daughter who selected Whittier for my care, and special thanks to the dedicated caregivers who fulfilled their mission to care for patients with love and devotion. Bob Crisafi, Ph.
