Some forms often begin when a person is between ages 20 and 40.
Arthritis is usually chronic.
The most common type is osteoarthritis which involves the breakdown of cartilage and bones, causing pain and stiffness.
Other forms include rheumatoid arthritis, fibromylagia, osteoporosis, lupus, gout, lower back pain, bursitis and tendonitis.
