Services
Manual Therapy is any "hands-on" treatment provided by the physical therapist.
Treatment may include moving joints in specific directions and at different speeds to regain movement (joint mobilization and manipulation), muscle stretching, passive movements of the affected body part, or having the patient move the body part against the therapist's resistance to improve muscle activation and timing.
Selected specific soft tissue techniques may also be used to improve the mobility and function of tissue and muscles.

Jodi Medell has been in the field of physical therapy for almost 30 years.
She received her undergraduate degree from University of Michigan, her Master's degree from Oakland University, and her Doctorate degree from Regis University.
She also studied traditional osteopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
Jodi is passionate about her work as a physical therapist.
She views herself as one who sculpts the body with her hands as she finds the core of the problem(s) and works with the tissues to release the restrictions.

KT Tape is an elastic sports tape designed to relieve pain while supporting muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
The products we offer are selected to give you support where you need it the most!
The tape and braces support your joints and muscles.

KT Tape is an elastic sports tape designed to relieve pain while supporting muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Only acute conditions will be treated with the appropriate schedule to support the plan of care.
MC DOES NOT pay for maintenance physical therapy.
Private insurance patient will be treated for 16 visits or 3 months (whichever occurs first) per diagnosis.
Patient will be required to get a new prescription with a new diagnosis if they wish to receive further treatment.
Your schedule of visits must support an acute condition and requirement of physical therapy intervention.
If a patient wants to continue therapy for the treatment diagnosis beyond 8-10 visits for MC and 16 visits/3 months for private insurance AND it appears to be maintenance therapy, he/she may continue therapy as a self pay patient.
