We understand that pain can make you anxious and you might be uncertain about how we can help you. I had a reunion trip planned over this past weekend that I almost canceled due to gout in my right toe. After 15 minutes with Brad, I was able to walk virtually without a limp and without the toe inflaming during the trip. The wonderful people at Moore were kind, attentive and personal with helping in getting you back to where you need to be.

Kinda wish I'd get hurt again just to go back lol. But seriously, great staff and very accommodating. Reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation are common goals in this phase of recovery. Injury protection, elevation, appropriate medications, compression, and patient education are important. Pain-free passive, manual therapy, active range of motion, and cardiorespiratory exercises, are indicated here.

Education about pain and a positive attitude may help. Progressive loading of healing soft tissues, the reintroduction of low-stress neuromuscular reeducation, balance training, and basic functional activities are part of this rehabilitation phase.

Each individual comes to physical therapy with their own unique needs.
No surprise when we consider no two people are entirely alike.
Because of this here at Moore Physical Therapy we will tailor our services and treatments to fit your needs like a custom suit.
You can know we are experts in addressing your impairments while working with your specific set of needs.
Nothing gives us more joy than helping you reach your goals.
As people grow older, their bodies undergo the natural aging changes that tend to slow us down.
Our main goal is to continuously improve the experience you have while receiving treatment at our locations.
We feel that a key aspect of improving the experience you have here is to for you to be actively involved in the planning of your care and treatment you receive.
This is known as Shared Decision Making (SDM).
The goals of shared decision making is to ensure that you understand your options, including the pros and cons of these options, and that your values, goals, preferences and expressed needs are used to guide our recommendations for your care and treatment.
As people age, it becomes more difficult for them to engage in the activities they enjoy.
Even transitioning from a seated position to a standing position becomes difficult and they find themselves spending less time on their feet and more time resting.
There is a way to reverse this downward trend, we recommend our functional improvement therapy.
Here at Moore Physical Therapy, we see men and women on a daily basis who are working hard to reclaim their independence.
It might start with the will to get back on their feet, but it quickly leads them back to their old hobbies and spending quality time with their families.
How do you find pain relief if you've been experiencing ongoing muscle or joint pain that isn't the result of an injury or surgery?.
Physical therapy is an obvious step in recovery from an injury or surgery, but we can also help eliminate ongoing tension and soft tissue pain.
Many people feel muscle and joint pain and treat the symptoms by self-medicating, seeking massage therapy or chiropractic realignment.
Treating the symptoms can cause temporary relief, but if the problem keeps returning, chances are you need a comprehensive treatment.
