In Motion Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapists at In Motion Physical Therapy of NY strive to provide the highest standard of care possible to each patient. Our policy of scheduling one patient every 30 minutes is what allows us to focus and devote our full attention on each patient's individual needs with minimal distractions. Having one-on-one sessions with a Physical Therapist ensures that our patient's receive the most effective form of treatment, as well as the time and attention to educate them during each session.

Our therapists are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in treating sports injuries, post-surgical injuries and even preventing future injuries and surgeries by correcting, strengthening, and easing the pain of any existing abnormalities and/or movement dysfunctions. Every detail of the patient's medical history is accounted for and taken into consideration when we create their own individualized treatment plan.

No two patients are treated exactly the same and our creativity in the way we design programs keeps PT fun and helps you stay on track!

Our Physical Therapists have worked with all levels of athletes to improve performance by enhancing soft tissue mobility and basic movement patterns.
We work closely with highly trained strength coaches, athletic trainers, and personal trainers to ensure the athlete's safety and overall success in returning to their sport.
IASTM/Graston Techniques stands for Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
It is a tool which enables therapists to effectively find, and treat individuals diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunctions.
This approach uses instruments with a specialized form of massage by scraping the skin gently.
Instrument assisted techniques are beneficial in breaking up soft tissue and fascial adhesions, decreasing muscle tone and detecting areas of chronic inflammation.
Theragun/Hypervolt (Vibration Therapy) is used to decrease pain, improve blood flow, and increase mobility.
If you contact the office, we will be able to verify your insurance benefits for you and notify you of your patient responsibility before your first visit.
You can come to physical therapy to PREVENT an injury.
A lot of injuries (especially overuse injuries) can be easily prevented with soft tissue work, an exercise/stretching program and balance training.
We are able to do an assessment to determine each athlete's risk for injury and prescribe an individualized program.
We also offer recovery treatments to speed up muscle soreness and aches between games and practices.
