Advance at Home Physical Therapy is a rehabilitative private practice that provides quality outpatient therapy to seniors at home or at assisted living facilities throughout Long Island and Queens.
AAHPT was created to meet a valuable need that existing home health agencies were unable to provide.
After discharge from home health services, many patients in the community were unable to go to physical therapy and occupational therapy in the outpatient setting due to physical limitations or restrictions.

Do I need a prescription for physical therapy?
Patients with Medicare will require a prescription from their MD before the initial evaluation.
What kinds of conditions do you treat?
We specialize in treating the geriatric population with neurological conditions that result in the loss of function due to loss of balance, gait abnormality, difficulty with transfers, decreased strength or a fall at home.
We also treat most orthopedic and cardiopulmonary issues that cause pain or a limitation of function.

Physical Therapy services through AAHPT House Calls are considered outpatient therapy by Medicare and most private insurance carriers.
The cost of your therapy session will be the same as if you were to attend therapy at an outpatient facility.
All co-pays are due, in-full, at time of treatment.
If you choose not to use insurance, payment for physical therapy services can be made out-of-pocket at time of service.
Our current rate is comparable to outpatient facilities.
