Unique physical therapy instruction emphasizing clinical relevance and advanced manual therapy training. My professional emphasis has been to objectively research this area as it relates to physical therapy treatment techniques, Jackson explains about the workshops he offers. I believe that an understanding of the pelvic girdle and the lower half functional relationships is essential if we are to accurately assess and treat some of the common syndromes and dysfunctions we see daily in the clinic.

Prerequisite: Upon registration we will send you a copy of the course manual, please be familiar with the entire book, but particularly Chapter 1, 2, & 3.
Services
Designed to give you an understanding of lower half functional relationships, in order to accurately assess and treat common syndromes and dysfunctions.
Developed for manual therapists with an understanding of spinal, extremity and pelvic girdle assessment and treatment, this seminar helps you to integrate this knowledge with current clinical insights.
Following the course, you will understand and appreciate how the lower half of the body functions as a single, functioning unit.
You will be able to evaluate the joints of the lower half statically and dynamically for normal and abnormal function and describe their functional interdependence.
As an educator, I appreciate your style and found this a marvelous learning experience.
But mostly, appreciate what you have done for me as a clinician.
I have been making Orthotics for over 20 years at a rate of about 10 pairs a week.
I have never wanted to attend a foot course because I didn't want to limit my attention to the foot alone.
This course makes me look at low back pain patients differently - it's all connected - I get it now!
I've been to a lot of courses over the years - this was THE BEST overall presentation - exceptional powerpoint slides/video, great lab assistants and a first rate instructor (Richard Jackson).
A. The Human Pelvis: Crossroads of Function is 40% evaluation and the Functional Relationships course is 60% evaluation.
PTA's are not licensed to do evaluations, therefore we feel that the courses are inappropriate for PTA's.
I Work in Pediatrics/Geriatrics, Will This Course Benefit Me?
A. Does your patient have a pelvis?
Does your patient walk?
If the answer is yes to the first question, you can benefit from the Pelvic Girdle course.
If the answer to the second question is yes, you can benefit from the Functional Relationships course.
