She obtained her doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University in 2012.
Her career has been focused on orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis on functional training.
She specializes in sports-related injuries and postoperative rehabilitation for the hip, knee, and shoulder.
She is Certified Spinal Manual Therapist (CSMT) through the International Spine and Pain Institute.
Here at Champinon Performance & Physical Therapy our therapists focus on each individual athlete customizing a program with their sport-of-choice in mind.
All of our injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance enhancement programs are tailored to help you excel at the sport you love.
Mobility and flexibility play an important role in preparing the body to move in action.
Developing proper stretching technique and understanding what key muscles to stretch for a particular sporting event can lead to less injuries and improved performance.
Champion Performance & Physical Therapy is equipped with the staff and skills to help the aging population maintain and advance his or her balance and ability to maintain an active lifestyle.
Weakness and balance problems can make it hard to keep up with the activities we love.
Our therapists can train and progress your balance and strength to keep you doing the things you enjoy.
Our physical therapists can determine which areas you need to work on to get you back to doing the things you enjoy most and those things that just need to get done.
Champion Performance & Physical Therapy has therapists that specialize in issues such as pregnancy-related problems, pelvic floor pain, stress and urge incontinence, and constipation.
Hope Hillyard, PT treats pelvic floor issues in males and female alike.
Many who suffer from pelvic floor issues and incontinence do so needlessly - and we're trying to help decrease that number.
Commonly treated diagnoses include: bowel or bladder incontinence, pelvic floor pain, prolapse, and constipation.
We treat other pelvic floor problems associated with interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, prostatectomies, and other urological or gynecological issues.
