Services
Southern Rehab Physical Therapy (SRPT) began as Southern Rehab & Aquatics Physical Therapy in 2005 with four employees in a 2,500 square foot facility in Kimball, TN.
We have now expanded to 15 employees in a 3,750 square foot facility, including five full-time physical therapists and four physical therapy assistants.
SRPT provides outpatient physical therapy services for Marion County and the surrounding area, including North Alabama and Georgia.
We also offer physical therapy and occupational services for the Exceptional Education students in the Marion County school system.
There are several services and treatments provided by Southern Rehab Physical Therapy.
Our therapists will perform a one-on-one evaluation and discuss your therapy goals then select the best treatment options for you.
Our certified therapist, Rachel Carter, PT, DPT, OCS, performs dry needling to treat new and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Dry needling is a form of physical therapy.
A thin, solid needle is inserted into painful knots in muscles (also known as trigger points).
Solid needles are different from hollow needles (also known as hypodermic needles), which are used to draw blood or inject steroids or other medications.
Amy has been with SRPT since 2010 and is our Business Manager.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Accountancy from the University of TN at Chattanooga.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
Kindal graduated from North Jackson High school in 2017 and continued her education at the University of South Alabama.
She is now working back home as a physical therapy technician while finishing up her degree in Pre-Physical Therapy.

After completing the check-in process, you will be taken to a private treatment room to have a one-on-one session with your physical therapist.
