High Desert Physical Therapy was established to better serve the needs of the Four Corners Region. High Desert Physical Therapy is locally owned and operated by physical therapists, and as a private practice, has no legal association with any hospital or referring providers. This autonomy allows us to customize patient care and services. Every patient receives one on one treatment.
We do not utilize technicians or aides. We offer personalized orthopedic care for patients of all ages and utilize a team approach to maximize the well being of our patients. We emphasize the importance of ongoing communication with the patient, therapist, and referring provider.

Back Pain is a condition that plagues many people of all ages.
It can be related to a specific injury or degenerative changes in the spine that occur as we age.
Having professional guidance can make the difference in a person's outcome.
Treatment requires a individualized approach that focuses on correcting impairments that led to the injury.
Unfortunately, many traditional clinics apply a cookie cutter treatment that simply doesn't address a person's specific needs.
Michael and Megan are experienced in treating both operative and nonoperative back pain.

Ankle and foot injuries are among the more common orthopedic injuries.
Ankle sprains occur frequently in youth and adolescent sports.
This can result in impairments in future situations of physical activity due to inadequate stability and proprioception.
Other conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis occur more often as we age and can be managed very effectively with physical therapy.
At High Desert Physical Therapy we maintain a variety of equipment to challenge clients of all levels to allow them to return to their prior level without the risk of re-injury.
