She moved to Canada in 1995 where she studied manual therapy and became an Advanced Level Manipulative Manual Therapist and earned her Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy.
She earned her Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2015, the equivalent of a clinical PhD degree.
She has experience working in both private practice and hospital settings.
